Instractions of use

Inavir inhaler is filled with medicine.

Structure of the inhaler (when inhaling). TOP:mouthpiece. MIDDLE:Medicine tray(sliding tray). Powdered medication(INAVIR). BOTTOM:Air hole.

Without removing the labels,
slide Medicine Tray in the direction of
the arrow all the way to the end and
inhale each side in turn.

When prescribed for children,
adults are asked to supervise,
as children may have difficulty in
sliding the medicine tray.

How to hold the inhaler. Be sure not to cover the air hole on the bottom of the inhaler

Tips and precautions when inhaling

Take a deep breath and relax. It is not necessary to inhale excessively, nor to hold your breath for a long time.

Do not tap the inhaler after sliding the Medicine Tray. Do not cover the air hole. Put the mouthpiece fully into your mouth. Breathe out briefly before putting the mouthpiece into your mouth. This will male it easier to inhale. Inhale in an upright position, not looking down. Hold your breath for 2- 3 seconds after inhaling, then breathe out slowly.

Some people might find the medicine bitter.

For "Treatment" and "Prevention" of influenza virus infection

Usage and dose when you use INAVIR for "Treatment" and "Prevention"

INAVIR is an inhalation medicine with antiviral effects. Inhaling the medicine (inhalation of just one dose) in the container prevents the influenza virus from spreading inside your body. (The container holds powdered medication)

For “Treatment”

Over the age of 10. Inhale 40mg (2 packages) per dose. 2 packages per dose. → Treatment with INAVIR is complete. 9 years of age and under. Inhale 20mg (1 package) per dose. 1 package per dose. → Treatment with INAVIR is complete.

For “Prevention”

If you use INAVIR for “Prevention”,
you will not be paid prescription benefits.

Over the age of 10. Inhale 40mg (2 packages) per dose. 2 packages per dose. → Prevention with INAVIR is complete. Or 1 package per dose for 2 days. You can inhale INAVIR 1 package for 1 dose a day for 2 days (2 packages for 2 doses for 2 days). 9 years of age and under. Inhale 20mg (1 package) per dose. 1 package per dose. → Prevention with INAVIR is complete.

Usage when you use INAVIR for "Treatment" and for "Prevention"

Tap the inhaler. Without sliding the Medicine Tray, tap the container gently onto a table, ❝tap, tap, tap❞. This is to drop the medicine to the bottom of the inhaler. B Slide1. → inhale. Without removing the labels, slide Medicine Tray 1 in the direction of the arrow all the way to the end. Put the mouthpiece into your mouth and take a deep breath, then hold your breath for 2 - 3 seconds. Remove the inhaler from your mouth and exhale slowly without blowing into the mouthpiece. C Slide2. → inhale. Next, slide Medicine Tray 2 in the direction of the arrow all the way to the end. Put the mouthpiece into your mouth and take a deep breath, then hold your breath for 2 - 3 seconds. Remove the inhaler from your mouth and exhale slowly without blowing into the mouthpiece. D Return to original position. Slide Medicine Tray 1 back to its original position. → E To ensure that the medicine is completely inhaled, repoeat procedures A-C.

  4. D Return to original position. Slide Medicine Tray 1 back to its original position.
  5. E To ensure that the medicine is completely inhaled, repoeat procedures A-C.
